A dual battery system is a second battery for your vehicle, and it is also known as an auxiliary battery system. An auxiliary battery system is separate from your starting battery in your car. An auxiliary battery can be used to power a range of 12 volt accessories – fridge, air compressor, lights, kettle etc. It can also be used to charge devices like mobile phones, iPads, tablets, cameras. If you can charge it via USB – your dual battery system can keep it powered up.

Why Do I Need an auxiliary Battery Installation?
All cars have what is known as a starter battery which is used to start the engine and power the other components of your standard vehicle. As more accessories are added to vehicles like is normal for a camping vehicle the battery will become more strained and you run the risk of not being able to start your vehicle or power your accessories. This is why it's essential that you add an auxiliary battery to power the extras you need.

We also stock a range of Slimline Batteries that we can mount behind the seat in Dual Cab Utes. Great setup for vehicles such as Toyota Hilux, 79 Series LandCruiser, Mitsubishi Triton, Ford Rangers. We can also mount under the floor in a Nissan Patrol Y62, Isuzu MUX.
